2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Gains Hybrid Option and More

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe has some exciting changes in store. For the new model year, this SUV boasts a fresh exterior look, a redesigned interior layout, and an efficient hybrid powertrain option.

The exterior of the new Santa Fe shows off a widened grille with new lighting signatures, a more sculpted design, and athletic roof rails. The interior redesign includes a floating console, contrast stitching, and options like a 10.25-inch touch screen and soft-touch materials.

The Santa Fe’s new hybrid powertrain pairs dual electric motors with a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering total system output of 225 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. This hybrid system comes paired to a six-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with all-wheel drive. If you don’t want a hybrid, you can choose between a 191-horsepower 2.5-liter engine or a 277-horsepower turbo.

If you’re in the market for premium creature comforts, the 2021 Santa Fe is getting a new top-level trim: the Ultimate Calligraphy. This trim level comes with a Head-Up Display, quilted Nappa leather seats, exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels, and an HTRAC AWD system with downhill braking.

For the 2022 model year, the Tucson boasts the brand’s evolving Sensuous Sportiness design language. It uses sculpted lines and muscular stance to create a svelte, sophisticated silhouette that hints at the future. Seven exterior colour options are available for this new model, including White Cream, Phantom Black, Shimmering Silver, Nocturne Gray, Amazon Gray, Flame Red, and Intense Blue.

Inside, ambient lighting helps create an atmosphere that suits your mood, using up to 64 colours and 10 levels of brightness. The cabin also features a dual 10.25-inch touch screen. Its second-row seats fold down to create a flat load floor for your cargo.

Hyundai has also strived to give you a more digital ownership experience with the 2022 Tucson. For instance, you can turn your smartphone into a smart key to lock and unlock your Tucson. You can even start the engine and climate control system with your phone from up to 90 feet away.

The 2022 Tucson’s powertrain options include a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, along with hybrid and plug-in hybrid models.

The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe is raising the bar in the compact SUV segment. Redesigned for the 2021 model year, this all-new vehicle is ready to take on anything your family throws its way, featuring updates both inside and out.

The recently unveiled 2021 Santa Fe comes with a new grille, which fully spans the front of the vehicle. The grille’s geometric patterning gives it a modern feel, while the daytime running lights and taillights are connected by a long, uninterrupted line to give the Santa Fe a sophisticated look.

Inside, new soft-touch materials and a raised centre console give the vehicle a welcoming atmosphere. Along with a new shift-by-wire system, the Santa Fe comes with a Terrain Mode selector knob, making it easy to take on Toronto weather with seven available modes: Mud, Snow, Sand, Eco, Sport, Comfort, and Smart.

The centre console features a brand-new 10.25-inch touch-screen display, which gives you access to voice-guided navigation, preloaded maps, and a range of infotainment features that will allow you to keep you connected on the go.

Hyundai Introduces Sporty Elantra N Line

The Hyundai Elantra lineup just got a whole lot sportier. Hyundai recently announced that it is expanding its popular sedan lineup with an all-new model: the N Line.

The 2021 Hyundai Elantra N Line model is built with providing more driving fun for consumers, especially while driving around Toronto. This sporty edition is characterized by specific N design elements and performance-enhancing features.

Under the hood, the 2021 Elantra N Line will come equipped with a 1.6-litre GDI turbocharged engine that is paired to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed Double Clutch Transmission. This powertrain will pump out 201 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.

The Elantra N Line has also undergone some engineering changes to increase its performance. Its suspension has been stiffing for better handling, and it also features 18-inch alloy wheels, a multi-link independent rear suspension, and larger front brake rotors.

Inside, a leather-wrapped perforated N steering wheel flaunts metallic spokes, while the N sport seats with leather bolsters, gearshift with metal accents, and alloy pedals add to the vehicle’s athletic feel. There are also a number of driver-oriented features, including paddle shifters and a Drive Mode Selector system.

Along with a new design and a hybrid model, the Elantra presents a wide range of new technologies. It comes standard with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, while also expanding the availability of Hyundai Digital Key, which allows drivers to lock and unlock their vehicle with a smartphone and even share access with other drivers.

Finally, the 2021 Elantra comes standard with six SmartSense™ safety technologies: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, and a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.

The 2021 Elantra is expected to begin production this autumn, arriving at Downtown Hyundai in Toronto sometime during the fourth quarter.

2020 Hyundai IONIQ Lineup Offers Increased Range
