Summer in Toronto is a wonderful time of the year — and not just because the weather is warm. Throughout the city, there are plenty of events to enjoy. At Downtown Hyundai, we collected a few of the Toronto summer festivals you should consider attending this year.

NXNE: North by Northeast

Get to chance to find emerging musicians and discover the newest technologies at the North by Northeast (NXNE) festival. This 10-day festival spans June 7-16 and includes a major three-day music festival in the heart of the city. NXNE looks to bridge the gap between technology and the arts, incorporating music, gaming, comedy, interactive technologies, and more. The venues vary depending on the event you want to attend, so check out the festival’s official website to learn more.

Toronto’s Festival of Beer

If you’re looking for a day away from the kids or need a night out on the town, consider attending Toronto’s Festival of Beer. This festival, which takes place July 26-28, celebrates the country’s brewing history, highlighting more than 120 beer brands around the world, including Ontario craft brewers. It’s considered Canada’s largest beer festival, with over 30,000 people attending each year.

Fan Expo Canada

Get in touch with your nerdy side at Fan Expo Canada. This four-day-long event will be held Aug. 22-25, giving you the chance to meet celebrity guests, enjoy family-friendly events, and learn more about your favorite sci-fi, fantasy, comic books, and anime. The event takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, and this year will feature stars like Jeff Goldblum, Zachary Levi, Jason Momoa, and David Harbour.
